The birthplace of Casimiro de Abreu is a museum and culture center today. it possesses an auditorium, a library, art halls and a little exhibition over the poet. He died because of tuberculosis, that's thereason why most of his property was burned. dunes raise itself to «prainha», the little beach, full of nice beach bars. From the church hill, you have a lovely outlook over the city, the sea, the river and the mountains. Especially in the evening, nice photos can be taken of the sinking sun that reflect itself in the river. |
